Full Itinerary

ITINERARY

Day 1:  ARRIVAL
On arrival at Kittilä airport you will be transferred to the hotel.
Overnight:  Harriniva Holiday Centre  (D)

Day 2:  HUSKY SAFARI
After breakfast you will have some time at leisure to explore the local area. Then in the afternoon you will meet with your guide and the hotel’s happy huskies. First you will be given a guided tour of the husky farm and then you will be taught how to control the sled and various safety instructions. After that your 2-hour 17km husky safari will commence. After returning to the hotel you could spend some time in the sauna before dinner.

Day 3:  DAY AT LEISURE
Today the entire day will be at your leisure to relax, book an optional excursion, or to simply explore nature some more.

Day 4:  SNOWMOBILE SAFARI
This day will again start with leisure time in the morning during which you could perhaps book an optional excursion or spend some time on the slopes. In the early afternoon you will meet your guide who will give you instructions on how to handle a snowmobile and all the safety regulations you need to observe. Then you will depart on a safari which will take you through forests and frozen lakes and just overall perfect Fell scenery. The safari will cover approximately 30km and it is normal for two persons to share a snowmobile but there is an additional supplement if you want to be by yourself. After this active day you could once again unwind in the sauna before dinner.

Day 5:  DEPARTURE
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kittilä airport.  (B)

Includes:  Arrival and departure airport transfers in Kittilä; 4 nights accommodation; use of winter clothing; Snowmobile Safari; Husky Safari; daily use of the hotel sauna; all day tea and coffee; meals as shown (B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner)

Note: This tour is only suitable for children over the age of 5.
The above single supplement includes the cost of single use snowmobile rental as it is obligatory for a single traveller.
