Full Itinerary
Day 1: CASABLANCA
After arrival at Casablanca Airport, you will be transferred to the hotel.
Overnight: Casablanca (D)
Day 2: CASABLANCA – RABAT
Meet your driver/guide this morning for an orientation tour of the Casablanca Habbous and Corniche areas. Then you will visit the interiors of the Hassan II Mosque built by the late King Hassan II, which has the tallest minaret in the world. Thereafter the tour leaves Casablanca travelling to the Imperial capital, Rabat. Here you will visit the exteriors of the Royal Palace, the Mellah, the Mohamed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower and the Oudayas. Then the remainder of the day will be at your leisure.

Day 3: RABAT – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FEZ
The tour continues to Meknes, which is the old capital of the Sultan Moulay Idriss, whose stables there once housed 12,000 horses. Stop at the famous Bab Mansour before continuing to the Roman city of Volubilis. The ruins of this formerly well-fortified city and thriving settlement are a window into the Roman history of Morocco. Today this site is known for its remarkably well-preserved mosaics and architectural splendour. Thereafter you will drive to Fez.

Day 4: FEZ
Today will be spent exploring the oldest Imperial city in Morocco, Fez, home to the oldest university in the world. You will see the old Medina (Fez El Bali), the Andalusian quarter and the Karaouine quarter with its dyers, tanners and artisans working in the style of their forefathers. Later you will see the Mellah, the Jewish quarter, with its old cemetery and the Royal Palace.

Day 5: FEZ – IFRANE – AZROU – MARRAKECH
Leave Fez and exchange the bustle of the Medina for picturesque scenery. Along the way you will stop at Ifrane with its Alpine-like surrounds, and the Cedar Forests of Azrou. Then travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the city of Marrakech.

Day 6: MARRAKECH
You will be spending the entire day in this Garden City. Visit the dramatic Almohad Koutoubia Minaret and the lavishly-decorated Saadien Tombs, some of which date back to the middle 1550s. Then spend some time in the tranquil Menara Gardens and the Bahia Palace before walking through the labyrinth of narrow alleyways making up the renowned, colourful and aromatic Souqs of Marrakech ending at the Dyers’ Souq. Visit the famous Djemâa el Fna Square (which translates as ‘Assembly of the Dead’), where, until the 19th century, the severed heads of criminals were traditionally displayed. See stalls of goods, from fruit to alarm clocks; snake charmers and water sellers; fortune tellers and public scribes; tumblers and nakkachat, women with syringes full of henna, soothsayers and gnaoua musicians.

Day 7: MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA
