Full Itinerary
Saturday: CASABLANCA
You will arrive at Casablanca airport and be transferred to the hotel. The hotel’s restaurant is only open until 22h30 so if you arrive late you will not be able to have dinner.

Sunday: CASABLANCA – RABAT
Casablanca is considered Morocco’s economic capital. Visit the central market, the Habbous district, the Royal Palace, Mohamed V square, the residential area of Anfa and the exterior of the impressive Hassan ll Mosque in Casablanca. Then depart for Rabat, Morocco’s Administrative capital. During a tour of Rabat you will visit the Royal Palace (Mechouar), the Kabah of the Odayas and Hassan Tower.

Monday: RABAT – MEKNES – FEZ
Drive to Meknes. In the heart of the delightful Moroccan countryside, Meknes is one of Morocco’s most striking imperial cities. It is surrounded by 40km of defensive walls and a series of monumental gateways, the most impressive of which is Bab al-Mansour. Visit the Royal Stables and the Jewish quarter before departing for Volubilis. It was a thriving settlement until the 4th century, with fine mosaics, sculptures and kitchenware. The city’s architectural splendour is ample proof of its rich past. Thereafter continue to Fez.

Tuesday: FEZ
The day will be entirely devoted to exploring Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. Surrounded by walls, it is the world’s oldest and most intact medieval city, with some 9000 intricate streets and alleys, exotic overlapping souks and a timeless swirl of smells, colours and voices. A visit to the bustling Medina is like entering another world. See the Bou Anania Medersas, Nejjarine fountain, Foundouq Nejjarine (Museum of woods), the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and the 9th century Karaouine Mosque (from outside). In the afternoon visit the esplanade of the Royal Palace with its magnificent golden door and then explore Fez Jdid.

Wednesday: FEZ – BENI MELLAL – MARRAKECH
Depart Fez and travel south passing by the Berber village of Immouzer du Kandar and the Cedar forests of Ifrane (In case of bad wheather in winter time, itinerary can be modified via Meknes, Adaroch passing by farms and of husbandry cows, Mrirert, Khenifra), the almost Alpine-like ski resort in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Continue through the fruit-growing region of Beni Mellal before arriving in Marrakesh.

Thursday: MARRAKECH
Explore the historical sights of Marrakech today. You will see Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque with a landmark minaret that can be seen from almost anywhere in the town and Menara Gardens. In the afternoon visit the fabulous Djmaa El Fna Square with its myriad of street performers, soothsayers, storytellers, snake charmers and henna painters.

Today will be at leisure to explore Marrakech.

Saturday: MARRAKESH/ KASBAH TELOUET / KASBAH AIT BENHADOU OUARZAZATE
Get an early start this morning and travel up the main road through the high Atlas Mountains with a 4WD-Vehicle. The road twists and turns its way up the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m). Continue to Telouet through some stunning scenery. Visit Kasbah of Telouet, once the home of the all-powerful Glaoui Family made famous by Gavin Maxwell in his book “Lords of the Atlas”. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kasbah has served as the backdrop to many Hollywood epics such as ‘Gladiator’, ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ and ‘Kingdom of Heaven’ to name just a few. Continue to Ouarzazate and see the Kasbah of Taourirt.

Sunday: OUARZAZATE – ZAGORA
After breakfast depart to Taznakth, famous for its Berber carpets. Continue south to Agdz, a small town located between Ouarzazate and Zagora. The road from to Zagora is dotted with palm groves and numerous Kasbahs, although most of them are mere ruins today.

Monday: ZAGORA – MARRAKECH
After breakfast you will return to Ouarzazate following the same road till Agdz and then through the Middle Atlas mountains. Continue to Marrakech via the national road crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass.

Tuesday: DEPARTURE
After breakfast you will be transferred to Casablanca Airport. (B)
