Full Itinerary
TUESDAY: ASWAN
You will be transferred from the hotel or airport to your Nile Cruiser. After lunch you will be able to enjoy an afternoon Felucca ride on the Nile; depending on the route you might catch a glimpse of the Botanic Gardens on Kitchener’s Island, the Elephantine Island, and Aga Khan’s Mausoleum (view only, no visit).

WEDNESDAY: ASWAN – KOM OMBO
To start the day you will visit the High Dam, a huge rock-fill dam, which captures the world’s longest river. Then travel by motorboat to Agilika Island and visit the reassembled Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. Thereafter the cruise gets underway to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris.

THURSDAY: EDFU – ESNA – LUXOR
This morning you will take a horse-drawn carriage to Edfu to the famous and best-preserved ancient Greek-built temple, the Horus Temple. Then the cruise continues to Esna and later to Luxor.

FRIDAY: LUXOR
Today you will drive to the West Bank and visit Thebes Necropolis and the Valley of the Kings where very few of the rock-cut tombs escaped grave robbers. At Deir al-Bahri you will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, built for the only woman who ruled Egypt. Then you will see the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon you will visit Karnak Temple, a complex dedicated to Amun Ra, and Luxor Temple discovered beneath the shifting desert sands.

SATURDAY: LUXOR
After breakfast, you will disembark and be transferred to Luxor airport. (B)
