Full Itinerary

DAY 1:  AMMAN
After arrival at Amman Airport you will be transferred to your hotel.  
Overnight: Amman  (D)

DAY 2:  AMMAN – MADABA – MT. NEBO – KERAK – PETRA
You will transfer to Petra via the Kings Highway, which twists and winds its way through the heart of Jordan. Along the way you will stop and visit the mosaic city of Madaba, where the oldest map of the Holy Land exists on the floor of the Church of St. George. Another stop will made at Mt. Nebo, where the Bible says Moses lived out his remaining days and viewed the Promised Land. The journey then continues south through the breath-taking scenery of Wadi Mujib with one final stop at the Crusader Castle at Kerak. Thereafter you will arrive in Wadi Mousa, the modern village of Petra, and what remains of the day will be at your leisure.

DAY 3:  PETRA
Today you will get a chance to visit the lost Nabatean city of Petra. You will discover El Khazneh, one of the most elegant remains of antiquity. It is carved out of solid rock from the side of a mountain and stands over 40m high. Spend the day exploring ancient Petra, voted as one of the new 7 Wonders of the World as part of a Swiss campaign running across a few years in the early 2000s. Thereafter you will depart to Aqaba.

DAY 4:  AQABA – AMMAN
Most of today will be at your leisure to explore Aqaba, Jordan’s only coastal city and a major tourist attraction due to its warm water and rich marine life. You could partake in a water activity or view the ruins of Ayla, or perhaps visit the old fort and its museum. Later in the day you will transfer to Amman. Tonight there will be a special Kan Zaman dinner.

DAY 5:  AMMAN
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Amman Airport.  (B)
