Full Itinerary
Day 1: Tel Aviv
After arrival at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport you will be transferred to the hotel in Tel Aviv.
Overnight: Tel Aviv
Day 2: Nazareth – Tiberias – Sea of Galilee – Capernaum
Today you will be spending the entire day on a coach tour. Drive to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue via Cana to Tiberias, a lovely resort town located on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Drive along the Sea of Galilee to visit Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient Synagogue where Jesus taught. Continue to Tabgha and visit the church of the miracle of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fish. Proceed to Yardenit, the famous baptismal site where the Jordan River leaves the Sea of Galilee on its way towards the Dead Sea. Thereafter you will return to Tel Aviv.

Day 3: Jerusalem
You will again be participating in a coach tour today. Drive to the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem for a panoramic view of the city. Stop at Mount Zion to visit King David’s tomb, the Room of Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey. Enter the Old City and walk through the Armenian and Jewish quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman road. See the Western Wall – “the Kotel” – the holiest place for Jews; and continue to the Christian quarter. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of Holy Sepulchre. Proceed to the New City and visit Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust.
On Saturdays and Jewish holidays, instead of Yad Vashem, drive to Ein Karem, southwest of Jerusalem, traditionally known as the birthplace of John the Baptist. Stroll in the narrow lanes of the picturesque neighbourhood, stopping by Mary’s spring and continuing on to visit the remarkable church of Saint John the Baptist. Thereafter you will return to the hotel.

Day 4: Jerusalem
Today will be entirely at your leisure. It is strongly suggested that you opt to take an optional tour to Massada and the Dead Sea as these are sites not to be missed.

Day 5: Jerusalem – Ben-Gurion Airport
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for the departure flight. (B)
