Full Itinerary

Day 1:  ATHENS 
Arrive Athens, transfer to your hotel.  Balance of day at leisure to explore the city.
Overnight:  Athens.

Day 2:  ATHENS – MYKONOS
Transfer to the port for your ferry to Mykonos. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 3:  MYKONOS
After breakfast, transfer to the port for your scheduled tour to Delos. Embark on a caique, a small Mediterranean sailing boat, to reach the charming island. Delos, an uninhabited Aegean island, is a significant archaeological site in the eastern Mediterranean. Known as the legendary birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, the island features remains dating from the Neolithic to Roman periods. The half-day tour, guided by a professional guide, covers key sites such as the Temple of Apollo, the sanctuary of Artemis, the old city, and the theatre. Visitors can also explore Lion Street and the Delos Museum, which showcases sculptures and artifacts from various historical periods. The tour provides a fascinating glimpse into the political and religious center of ancient Delos.

Day 4:  MYKONOS
Day at leisure to explore on your own. Mykonos is a Greek island located in the Aegean Sea, renowned for its stunning beaches, vibrant nightlife, and charming architecture. Famous for its iconic windmills, white-washed buildings, and narrow winding streets, Mykonos is a popular destination that combines traditional charm with a lively modern atmosphere. Visitors are drawn to its crystal-clear waters, picturesque landscapes, and a plethora of upscale shops, restaurants, and bars. The island is also known for its historical sites, including the Archaeological Museum and the charming town of Chora. Mykonos has earned a reputation as a cosmopolitan and trendy destination, attracting a diverse crowd of tourists seeking a blend of relaxation and excitement.

Day 5:  MYKONOS – NAXOS
Transfer to the port, for the hydrofoil to Naxos. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 6:  NAXOS
Naxos is the largest of the Cyclades and is known for its diverse landscapes, including mountains, fertile valleys, and beautiful beaches. The island has a rich history, with evidence of ancient civilizations dating back to the early Bronze Age. Naxos Town (Chora), the capital, is characterized by a medieval Venetian castle and a picturesque old town with narrow alleys. The island is famous for its marble, and the ancient marble quarries are a notable attraction. Naxos has several archaeological sites, including the Temple of Apollo, which is a gateway to the island’s historical past. The island’s economy relies on agriculture, fishing, and tourism, with visitors drawn to its charming villages, historical sites, and stunning landscapes. Naxos is also known for its local cuisine, featuring traditional Greek dishes and fresh seafood. Day 7:  NAXOS – SANTORINI
Transfer to the port for the the hydrofoil to Santorini. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 8:  SANTORINI
Spend a day exploring the waters and ancient volcanic crater around Santorini aboard this boat tour. Board your vessel and visit the Nea Kameni volcano, soak in the thermal springs, and explore the small neighboring island of Thirassia. Your tour ends with a walk through the famous village of Oia where you can watch one of Santorini’s famous sunsets.  For the tour, bring a swimsuit (preferably dark colors), a towel, a sun hat, and comfortable shoes (avoid flip flops), as a moderate amount of walking is involved.  Excludes volcano entrance fee €5 per person to be paid on the spot.  Oia stop is not included during the month of Oct.

Day 9:  SANTORINI
Renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, Santorini is characterized by its iconic white-washed buildings perched on the edge of steep cliffs overlooking the deep blue waters of the caldera. Santorini is the result of a volcanic eruption, and its unique topography, along with charming villages such as Oia and Fira, make it a popular destination for travelers seeking picturesque sunsets, beautiful beaches, and a rich historical and cultural experience. The island also boasts archaeological sites, including the ancient city of Akrotiri, known for its remarkably preserved Minoan ruins. With its distinct charm and allure, Santorini has become a sought-after destination for romantic getaways and memorable vacations.

Day 10:  SANTORINI – ATHENS
Transfer to the port for your the hydrofoil to Piraeus. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 11:  ATHENS
After breakfast, transfer to the airport.  (B)
