DAY 2 – DAY 5: LIMASSOL
Limassol (Lemesos) is a lively town largely due to the character of Lemesolians, a fun-loving lot. No wonder the town hosts the island’s two top festivals, the pre-Lent Carnival and the Wine Festival in September. Today, Limassol is a resort with a ten-mile coastline, a busy shopping centre, countless tavernas, restaurants and nightlife to suit tastes ranging from modest to sophisticated. Spend the days at leisure, on the beach, sample some of the many tavernas and clubs, or take an optional tour to other parts of the island.
