Wednesday: ZAGREB
You will arrive at Zagreb Airport and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight: Zagreb (D)
Thursday: ZAGREB – PLITVICE
Croatia’s capital, Zagreb, has a lot more to offer than just the multi-coloured roof of St Mark’s Church which you often see pictures of. You will also explore sights such as the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical centre, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre and University. Later depart to Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Croatia’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Friday: PLITVICE
This morning you will tour the National Park, which gets its name from the magnificent string of sixteen crystal clear emerald lakes that spill into each other forming cascades of thundering waterfalls. Along the lakes are more than 80km of paths which allow nature to lovers to discover a great diversity of plants and animals.

Saturday: PLITVICE – TRILJ – DUBROVNIK
Drive to Dubrovnik via the town of Trilj and travel along the valley of the Cetina River. Dubrovnik is a historic and beautiful city known as the jewel of Croatia.

Sunday: DUBROVNIK
Today will be entirely are your leisure to explore this fascinating city. Although severely damaged by an earthquake in 1667, Dubrovnik managed to preserve its beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains so there is a lot to see. In 1979, the Old Town of Dubrovnik joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

Monday: DUBROVNIK – SPLIT
Explore Dubrovnik’s Old Town on a walking tour this morning. You will visit sites such as the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy; Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. Later depart from Dubrovnik and travel along the Adriatic Coast and Neretva River Delta to Split, the largest coastal city in Croatia.

Tuesday: SPLIT – TROGIR – ZADAR
Enjoy a morning tour of Split during which you will see the Diocletian’s Palace, the Peristyle, Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Then depart to Trogir, a picturesque medieval town where you will visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Later continue to Zadar, well known for its attractive Romanesque churches and impressive fortified medieval walls.

Wednesday: ZADAR – ZAGREB
This morning you will take a tour of Zadar and see among other things the Roman Forum from the 2nd century BC and the 9th century pre-Romanesque Church of St. Donatus – the symbol of the city. In the afternoon travel back to where your fascinating journey through Croatia began, Zagreb.

Thursday: ZAGREB
