Full Itinerary

Saturday:  SPLIT
You will make your own way to Split harbour where embarkation begins at 13h00. In the evening there will be a special welcome reception and dinner on board the boat.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored at Split  (D)

Sunday:  SPLIT – PRIMOSTEN – ZADAR
In the morning you will travel to Primosten to visit the Krk National Park, home to magnificent waterfalls. Then you will continue by bus to Vodice and there re-board the ship and have lunch a little later. The cruise will continue to Zadar, a city of exceptional history and rich cultural heritage. Here you will go on a walking tour of the city’s historical center and admire the old walls built in the 16th century by the Venetians to defend against the Turks. You will see the 16th century Port Gate still guarded by a Venetian lion, the square of the five wells, church St. Donat, the roman forum and the largest cathedral in Dalmatia, St. Anastasia. What remains of the day will then be at your leisure to continue exploring Zadar.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored at Zadar  (BL)

Monday:  ZADAR – ZLARIN
The day begins with another visit to a National Park, this time Kornati NP which is comprised of more than 140 islands and islets making it the densest archipelago to be found in the Mediterranean. The archipelago was named for its largest island, Kornat, and consists largely of bare stony terrain as much of the productive land was lost due to a combination of over forestation and overgrazing. You will however still find enough beautiful Croatian nature to give your camera a workout in this nautical paradise. Then the cruise continues to Zlarin, a typical small Dalmatian village widely known for tradition and their coral work. Tonight there will be a special captain’s dinner onboard.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored at Zlarin  (BLD)

Tuesday:  ZLARIN – VIS
In the early morning the boat will depart Zlarin cruising toward Vis, a former strategic naval Yugoslav base that used to be closed to the public. This historic isolation means that for many Vis still counts as a place with special charm as “the Mediterranean as it once was” untouched by touristic development. Upon your arrival you will go on a walking tour which will show you the ruins of a Roman thermal bath installation, and views of the beautiful villas located along the waterfront as well as other highlights.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored at Vis  (BL)

Wednesday:  VIS – HVAR
It will be another early start today as the boat cruises to the small island of Biševo to visit the Blue cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon (entrances fees of approx. Euro 7 to be paid on the spot). However this excursion is highly dependent on good calm weather, so under adverse conditions the visit will be skipped and you will get underway to Hvar a bit sooner. From there the cruise continues to Croatia’s sunniest island, Hvar. Along the way the boat will stop in a secluded bay to allow cruise participants to go for a little swim in the crystal clear waters Croatia is known for. Hvar is a favourite holiday destination for the international jet-set and yachters but retains the same historic charm as one finds all over Croatia. You will go on a walking tour of the old town with its picturesque little streets and catch a glimpse of the first public theatre in Europe all the while breathing the pine-scented friendly breeze. Thereafter your time will be at your leisure giving you plenty of time to investigate the craft shops and cafes tucked into old Venetian buildings.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored at Hvar  (BL)

Thursday:  HVAR – BRAC
This morning the boat will take a relaxing cruise to Brac, home to Croatia’s most famous beach. The beach known as Zlatni Rat, situated near Bol, has gained notoriety because it juts out from the rest of the island like a golden horn and changes shape and position with the winds and the tides. The island is otherwise known for its native Mediterranean pine trees, relaxing atmosphere and numerous secluded peaceful days. The town of Bol is a typical fishermen’s village converted into a popular tourist destination on the southern side of the island or the boat may moor instead at the no less beautiful town of Milna. On arrival your time will be entirely at your leisure but is strongly recommended that you either make straight for Zlatni Rat so you can experience this unique beach for yourself or to one of the many secluded bays for a relaxing dip.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored at Brac  (BL)

Friday:  BRAC – SPLIT
Today will be your final chance to take a dip in Croatia’s calm blue waters during a stop in a calm secluded bay on Brac as the vessel makes its way back to Split. You will have lunch onboard and should arrive back in Split Harbour in the afternoon. The center of Split was built in and around the UNESCO-protected Diocletian’s Palace. You will explore this palace built for the roman emperor Diocletian’s retirement around 295-305 AD on a walking tour. During the tour you will see other examples of its Roman heritage such as Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle as well as other beautiful and notable Renaissance and Gothic buildings. Thereafter you will have time at leisure to perhaps get some final shopping done or just relax in a quaint little café.
Overnight: Cruise vessel anchored at Split  (BL)
