Full Itinerary
Day 1: SPLIT
You will arrive at Split Airport and be transferred to the hotel. Many of Split’s historical and cultural buildings can be found within the walls of the UNESCO-protected Diocletian’s Palace. There are many beaches in the city and its surroundings; the most popular is Bacvice, a sandy beach centrally located on Split’s coastline.
Overnight: Split
Day 2: SPLIT – HVAR
The morning will still be at your leisure to further explore this historic city. Later you will be transferred to Split port for the ferry to Hvar. On arrival in Hvar, known as Croatia’s sunniest island, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Overnight: Hvar (B)
Day 3: HVAR
Hvar will enchant you with its easy-going atmosphere, grand palaces, churches, monasteries, cathedrals, charming narrow streets and beautiful seaside promenades. Hvar is one of the most beautiful and certainly the most fragrant island of the Adriatic. Amazing works of art, purple lavender fields and top class wines made from the indigenous grape varieties are some of the defining characteristics of this island.
Overnight: Hvar (B)
Day 4: HVAR – KORCULA
You will have some more leisure time this morning to further explore Hvar. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the port for the ferry to Korcula. When you arrive in Korcula you will be transferred to your hotel. Korcula alleges to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo, whom you can now emulate by exploring the town at your leisure.
Overnight: Korcula (B)
Day 5: KORCULA – DUBROVNIK
The only item on the docket today is a transfer from Korcula to Dubrovnik. Depending on the day of the week the transfer could be straight to Dubrovnik via road, or just to the port so that you can take the ferry to Dubrovnik.
Overnight: Dubrovnik (B)
Day 6 – 7: DUBROVNIK
Explore Dubrovnik on your own or as part of the supplemental walking tours. Dubrovnik is known as the “Jewel of Croatia”. This medieval city is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and sits atop a rocky peninsula which juts into the sparkling Adriatic. Secluded bays and coves offer the perfect getaway. The huge walls of the old town are still intact. The wide marble paved squares, steep cobble-stepped streets and tall private houses have remained unchanged for centuries. On the second day we also suggest a visit to nearby Elaphite Islands or the Island of Lokrum.
Overnight: Dubrovnik (B)
Day 8: DUBROVNIK
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Dubrovnik Airport. (B)
