Full Itinerary

Saturday:  DUBROVNIK
You will be transferred from either Dubrovnik Airport, or a hotel in the city, to Gruz port where embarkation for the cruise begins at noon. Later there will be a special welcome reception during which you will meet your fellow passengers and the crew and captain.
Overnight:  Cruise vessel anchored at Dubrovnik  (WR)

Sunday:  DUBROVNIK – MLJET – KORCULA
As the vessel leaves Dubrovnik it will cruise past the Old City giving you a fantastic panoramic view of this UNESCO Heritage site. Then the cruise truly begins as the boat makes its way to Mljet, Croatia’s greenest island. Visit Mljet National Park which covers the western area of the island: there are five types of forests, many species of birds and eagles nests. The eastern end of the park is characterised by two deep bays that are called “lakes” because of their narrow channel (“Veliko Jezero” and “Malo Jezero” /”Big Lake” and “Small Lake”). A channel connects the small lake with the big lake, on which St. Mary’s Island is situated with its Benedictine Monastery from the 12th century. After some time on Mljet the cruise will continue to Korcula which is believed to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. Dinner will be on board tonight.
Overnight:  Cruise vessel anchored at Mljet  (BLD)

Monday:  KORCULA – HVAR
Korcula is an example of the successful blending of magnificent nature, cultural tradition, rich history and modern tourism. On the southern part of the island there are rocks that reach a height of 30 m above the sea. This morning you will walk along the narrow cobbled streets on a walking tour of Korcula during which will visit the majestic Gothic-Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. Later you will return to the boat for lunch as it starts cruising to Hvar, known as Croatia’s sunniest island. Another stop for swimming will be made along the way to one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet-set. On arrival you will go on a sightseeing tour of Hvar town which had the first public theatre in Europe (older than Shakespeare’s Theatre in the UK). On the tour you will also see the Franciscan Monastery and other historical highlights and thereafter the remainder of the day will be at your leisure.
Note: Due to limited capacity in Hvar Harbour during peak season in July and August the port of call might be changed to Stari Grad or Jelsa. If this is the case bus transfers to and from Hvar will be organised.
Overnight:  Cruise vessel anchored at Hvar  (BL)

Tuesday:  HVAR – BOL – SPLIT
Cruise to Bol, a small town on the island of Brac. Bol is known chiefly for the Golden Horn beach, a 530m long beach that changes shape and position with the wind and weather conditions. You will be given a chance to experience this fantastic beach for yourself until you have to board the boat again before lunchtime. You will have lunch as you cruise to Split, where you will go on a guided walking tour on arrival. Explore the inner city built in and around the large Diocletian’s Palace complex, a UNESCO-protected heritage site. You will also see other remnants of Split’s Roman heritage and buildings like Jupiter’s temple, the peristyle and Split’s cathedral.
Overnight:  Cruise vessel anchored at Split  (BL)

Wednesday:  SPLIT – TROGIR – SIBENIK
The cruise vessel’s first port of call today is the UNESCO-protected city of Trogir. The Old Town, which you will be given to explore at your leisure, is actually located on a small island just off the mainland. Board the boat again and have lunch as the cruise continues to Sibenik, which has the unusual distinction of being the oldest native Croatian city on Croatia’s coastline as older cities like Trogir or Dubronvik were founded by other civilisations. On arrival you will go on a guided walking tour of this city and see sights such as the Cathedral of St. James. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure.
Overnight:  Cruise vessel anchored at Sibenik  (BL)

Thursday:  SIBENIK – SALI
Sibenik is where the Krka River flows into the Adriatic which means the area is a prime location for natural beauty to blossom so it is no surprise to also find two National Parks in the area. Krka National Park is where you will find some beautiful waterfalls whereas Kornati National Park is is comprised of 140 small picturesque islands. Sightseeing tours to both parks are included this morning. Thereafter the cruise will continue to Sali, the largest town on a very narrow but long island off the coast of Zadar. Tonight there will be a special captain’s dinner on board with live entertainment.
Overnight:  Cruise vessel anchored at Sali  (BLD)

Friday:  SALI – ZADAR
Today marks the final day of being on the open water as the boat makes its way to Zadar. Along the way cruise participants will have their final chance to swim in the clear blue sea around Croatia when the boat again stops at a nice peaceful bay. Once the boat arrives at Zadar, which will be in the afternoon, you will go on a guided walking tour of the city. Explore Zadar’s historical centre with walls from the 16th century, the ancient port gate still guarded by a Venetian lion and the square of the five wells. See the symbol of Zadar, the church of St. Donatus, the Roman Forum and St. Anastasia which is the largest cathedral in the Dalmatian region. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure.
Overnight:  Cruise vessel anchored at Zadar  (BL)

Saturday:  ZADAR
After breakfast the cruise will end and after disembarkation you will be transferred to Zadar or Split airports.  (B)
