Full Itinerary

Saturday:  DUBROVNIK
Embark the vessel from 14h00 onwards. Later there will be a welcome drink and some snacks as you are introduced to the crew and advised of various safety precautions you have to observe. Dinner will be on board this evening.

Sunday:  DUBROVNIK – SLANO  
This morning you will go on a guided tour of Dubrovnik if you added the walking tour package, or if not you will simply have time at leisure to explore this fascinating city, sometimes called “The pearl of the Adriatic”, on your own. The Old Town of Dubrovnik is a UNESCO-protected heritage site where you will find renaissance churches and palaces forming a backdrop to outdoor cafes and market squares. Then the boat leaves port for the first time towards the small coastal town of Slano. You will have time at leisure to explore the town on your own or you could book an optional excursion called “Taste of Dalmatia”. On the excursion, you would visit Ston, a nearby town known for its 5km long city walls, and a local winery.

Monday:  MLJET – KORCULA  
The vessel will make its way to Croatia’s greenest island, home to Croatia’s premier Mljet National Park. This park is known for its immense beauty and its two turquoise salty lakes surrounded by a thick forest. Here you will have time at leisure to explore Mljet National Park on your own, or you could book an optional guided tour. You could also take a small boat to St. Mary’s island on which you will find a monastery and church from the 12th century as well as fantastic views out across the lake. Later the boat will then return to civilisation as it cruises toward Korcula. Along the way lunch will be served and the boat will stop at a peaceful bay to allow cruise participants to go for a swim. Thereafter you will arrive at Korcula, a small charming town, with the same name as the island, which is also sometimes called “Little Dubrovnik”. You will have time at leisure to explore this well-preserved medieval town, which is also the alleged birthplace of Marko Polo, on your own, or with a guide on the walking tour package.

Tuesday:  KORCULA – HVAR – VIS 
Today you will be cruising to Hvar, known as the sunniest island in Croatia. It is famous for its endless fields of lavender and rosemary, its beautiful coast and lovely historical towns. Arrive at Hvar town which you can explore at your leisure on your own, or on a guided tour as part of the walking tour package. In the afternoon the boat will cruise to the island of Vis, the furthest inhabited Croatian island from Croatia’s coastline. This island used to be a Yugolsav military base but today is famous for sandy beaches, beautiful bays and two beautiful coloured grottos, a blue and a green one. Tonight there will be a special captain’s dinner on board.

Wednesday:  VIS – SIBENIK
After breakfast you will have time at leisure, or you could book an optional tour. Then the cruise will depart on the long journey to Sibenik. Along the way another stop will be made to again to provide anyone wishing to take a dip in Croatia’s calm blue waters the opportunity to do so. Later a snack of fried Dalmatian fish will be served. Once the boat arrives in Sibenik the walking tour package includes a guided tour of the city, or you could explore Sibenik’s highlights, such as the Cathedral of St. James, by yourself. Sibenik is where the Krka River flows into the Adriatic, and it also has the unusual distinction of being the oldest native Croatian city on the coastline as cities like Dubrovnik or Split were actually founded by other civilisations.

Thursday:  SIBENIK – SKRADIN – TROGIR – SPLIT   
This morning you will join a bus excursion which will first drive through the Sibenik hinterland to Skradin. It is a small town at the entrance of Krk National Park which you can explore at your leisure. Then you will board the bus again which will now take you to Trogir where you can find the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Here you will also be given leisure time to explore the cathedral and the town on your own. Meanwhile, the boat has been making its own way to Split which is the final destination the bus will be taking you. The walking tour package includes a city tour of Split but it won’t be hard for you to find something interesting to look at on your own in this city rich with history and home to the UNESCO-protected Diocletian’s Palace.

Friday: SPLIT – PUCISCA – OMIS  
The final day of cruising begins with an early departure to Pucisca on the island of Brac. Puscisca is nestled in a beautiful bay surrounded by stone quarries that yield some of the best quality limestones in the world. Here you will have time at leisure to explore on your own or the walking tour package will take you to a well-known stonemasonry school nearby. Thereafter the boat departs and lunch will be served as it cruises to Omis, known for the beautiful Cetina River Valley and the pirates that made the surrounding waters unsafe in the 14th century. Here you will have some time at leisure or you could book an optional excursion to take a small boat up the Cetina River.

Saturday:  OMIS
After a final breakfast, the tour ends and you will disembark the vessel.  (B)

Day 2 – Sunday – Dubrovnik walking tour
Enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of this old walled city. Walk through the narrow streets of the Old Town and learn about the history and culture of this magnificent city.

Day 3 – Monday – Korcula walking tour
Explore The Old Town of Korcula which is a masterpiece of architecture and urban planning.  The rows of gothic and renaissance buildings, palaces, churches, small streets and squares emphasize a harmonious ground-plan (fishbone shape) inside the town walls. And not just the outsides are interesting; you will also find numerous exhibits and collections in various museums and churches.

Day 4 – Tuesday – Hvar walking tour
Hvar is the longest of all the Croatian islands. Hvar town is overlooked by a thick-walled fortress which offers splendid panoramic views of the surrounding area. The center of the town is a pedestrian zone and the streets converge onto an expansive piazza connecting the older part of the town and the newer 15th-century southern side. Day 5 – Wednesday – Sibenik walking tour
Discover the highlights of the oldest authentically Croatian city on Croatia’s coastline. In the medieval core of the city, there is a veritable labyrinth of small and steep backstreets and alleys that you can explore on this walking tour.

Day 6 – Thursday – Split walking tour
Split boasts a 17-century-long history and on this tour, you will discover the city’s most important historic sites. See the Diocletian’s Palace; a large fortress-like structure that houses most of Split’s Old Town, as well as the Peristyle, the Golden and Silver Gates, the Cathedral and Jupiter’s Temple.

Day 7 – Friday – Pucisca Stonemasonry School
This excursion is a short visit to a stonemasonry school where you will learn about Brac limestone and their centuries-old tradition of stonemasonry and the unconventional tools used.
