Full Itinerary

Saturday:  OMIS
Embark the vessel from 14h00 onwards. Later there will be a welcome drink and some snacks as you are introduced to the crew and advised of various safety precautions you have to observe. In the evening tonight dinner will be on board.

Sunday:  OMIS – PUCISCA – SPLIT    
Omis is known for the beautiful Cetina River Valley and the pirates that made the surrounding waters unsafe in the 14th century. Here you will have some time at leisure or you could book an optional excursion to take a small boat up the Cetina River. Then the actual cruise itself finally gets underway heading to Pucisca on the island of Brac. Puscisca is nestled in a beautiful bay surrounded by stone quarries that yield some of the best quality limestones in the world. Here you will have time at leisure to explore on your own or the walking tour package will take you to a well-known stonemasonry school nearby. In the afternoon the vessel continues to Split, the day’s port of call. Split is home to the UNESCO-protected Diocletian’s Palace, which will be visited on a tour from the walking tour package, or you can simply explore the Diocletian Palace complex at your own leisure.

Monday:  SPLIT – TROGIR – SKRADIN – SIBENIK    
After breakfast, you will leave the boat for a while and board a bus which will first take you to Trogir. Trogir’s Old Town is situated on an island just off the mainland and finds itself under UNESCO protection as a World Heritage Site. You will have time at leisure here to explore on your own during which you should make sure to visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Then you will again board the bus which will now take you to Skradin, a small town at the entrance of Krk National Park. You will be given some time at leisure here again to enjoy the park. Then you will board the bus a final time as it takes you to Sibenik. Here you will rejoin the vessel which has been making its own way here from Split. Sibenik has the unusual distinction of being the oldest native Croatian town on Croatia’s coastline as more prominent towns like Split or Dubrovnik were actually founded by other civilisations. The walking tour package includes a guided tour of Sibenik or alternatively you will simply have time at leisure giving you the chance to visit highlights like the Cathedral of St. James in the main town square. Dinner will be served on board the vessel tonight.

Tuesday:  SIBENIK – VIS 
This morning the vessel will depart to Vis. Along the way a stop will be made to provide anyone wishing to take a dip in Croatia’s calm blue waters the opportunity to do so. Arrival at Vis will be in the afternoon. The vessel will arrive at Vis in the afternoon. Vis is the furthest inhabited Croatian island from Croatia’s coastline. This island used to be a Yugolsav military base but today is famous for sandy beaches, beautiful bays and two beautiful coloured grottos, a blue and a green one. The island is largely untouched by modern development and tourism so one can experience a more traditional way of Mediterranean life here. You will have time at leisure during which you could book an optional excursion exploring the island.

Wednesday:  VIS – HVAR – KORCULA   
The vessel will get an early start this morning on the next leg of the cruise which takes it to Hvar. Hvar Island is known as the sunniest island in Croatia. It is famous for its endless fields of lavender and rosemary, its beautiful coast and lovely historical towns. Arrive at Hvar town which you can explore at your leisure on your own, or on a guided tour as part of the walking tour package. Then the cruise will continue to the island of Korcula, to a town with the same name that is sometimes referred to as “Little Dubrovnik” due to its visual similarity to Croatia’s headline city. You will arrive in the afternoon and have time at leisure to explore this well-preserved medieval town, which is also the alleged birthplace of Marko Polo, on your own, or with a guide on the walking tour package.

Thursday:  KORCULA – MLJET – SLANO
This morning you will temporarily exchange towns with historic architecture for pure nature as the cruise continues to Croatia’s greenest island, Mljet, home to Croatia’s premier Mljet National Park. This park is known for its immense beauty and its two turquoise salty lakes surrounded by a thick forest. Here you will have time at leisure to explore Mljet National Park on your own, or you could book an optional guided tour. You could also take a small boat to St. Mary’s island on which you will find a monastery and church from the 12th century as well as fantastic views out across the lake. After lunch and another short break affording passengers the final opportunity to take a dip in Croatia’s waters the boat will then return to civilisation as it cruises toward the small coastal town of Slano. You will have time at leisure to explore Slano on your own or you could book an optional excursion called “Taste of Dalmatia”. On the excursion, you would visit Ston, a nearby town known for its 5km long city walls, and a local winery.

Friday:  SLANO – DUBROVNIK   
Today marks the final day of being on the water as the vessel cruises to final port of call, Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is sometimes also called “The pearl of the Adriatic” and its Old Town is a UNESCO-protected heritage site. Here you will find renaissance churches palaces forming the backdrop to outdoor cafes and market squares. On arrival the walking tour packages includes its final guided walking tour or you can explore the narrow cobble stone streets, alleys, shops, historic buildings and monuments of the Old Town by yourself. There’s even more one that one can see on a walking tour so you will find plenty to distract yourself with for the rest of the day’s leisure time. Two suggested highlight one should not miss would be to take a cable-car to the top of the hill overlooking this fascinating city for unparalleled views and to walk the city walls.

Saturday:  DUBROVNIK
After a final breakfast, the cruise officially ends and you will disembark the vessel by 12:00 at the latest.  (B)

Day 2 – Sunday – Split walking tour
Split boasts a 17-century-long history and on this tour, you will discover the city’s most important historic sites. See the Diocletian’s Palace; a large fortress-like structure that houses most of Split’s Old Town, as well as the Peristyle, the Golden and Silver Gates, the Cathedral and Jupiter’s Temple.

Day 5 – Sunday – Pucisca Stonemasonry School
This excursion is a short visit to a stonemasonry school where you will learn about Brac limestone and their centuries-old tradition of stonemasonry and the unconventional tools used.

Day 3 – Monday – Sibenik walking tour
Discover the highlights of the oldest authentically Croatian city on Croatia’s coastline. In the medieval core of the city there is a veritable labyrinth of small and steep backstreets and alleys that you can explore on this walking tour.

Day 5 – Wednesday – Hvar walking tour
Hvar is the longest of all the Croatian islands. Hvar town is overlooked by a thick-walled fortress which offers splendid panoramic views of the surrounding area. The center of the town is a pedestrian zone and the streets converge onto an expansive piazza connecting the older part of the town and the newer 15th-century southern side. Day 5 – Wednesday – Korcula walking tour
Explore The Old Town of Korcula which is a masterpiece of architecture and urban planning.  The rows of gothic and renaissance buildings, palaces, churches, small streets, and squares emphasize a harmonious ground-plan (fishbone shape) inside the town walls. And not just the outsides are interesting; you will also find numerous exhibits and collections in various museums and churches.

Day 7 – Friday – Dubrovnik walking tour
Enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of this old walled city. Walk through the narrow streets of the Old Town and learn about the history and culture of this magnificent city.
