Sunday: OMIS – PUCISCA – SPLIT
Omis is known for the beautiful Cetina River Valley and the pirates that made the surrounding waters unsafe in the 14th century. Then the actual cruise itself finally gets underway heading to Pucisca on the island of Brac. Puscisca is nestled in a beautiful bay surrounded by stone quarries that yield some of the best quality limestones in the world. Here you will have time at leisure to explore on your own or the walking tour package will take you to a well-known stonemasonry school nearby. In the afternoon the vessel continues to Split, the day’s port of call. Split is home to the UNESCO-protected Diocletian’s Palace, which will be visited on a tour from the walking tour package, or you can simply explore the Diocletian Palace complex at your own leisure.
