Early morning arrival in the beautiful town of Harstad. Continue north to the capital of Northern Norway, Tromsø, which occupies a unique position between the sea and imposing mountains. The city is often referred to as the gateway to the Arctic, not least due to its historic links to polar research and expeditions which has set out from Tromsø. Experience the never ending bright nights and the Midnight Sun in summer and the spectacular Northern Lights in winter (weather permitting). In the evening, cruise towards the North Cape.

Enjoy the magnificent sub-Arctic landscape as you cross the 71st parallel. The North Cape itself rises 307m out of the icy ocean and is the northern-most point of the European continent. Visit the North Cape Hall and enjoy wide-screen films about North Cape and the county of Finnmark. Return to Honningsvåg, make your way to your hotel. Balance of day at leisure.
