Full Itinerary
This tour is the quintessential taste of Finish Lapland letting you experience not just the beautiful nature on a snowmobile but also the magic by giving you a chance to visit Santa and his elves. Start in Rovaniemi where you have a chance to meet Santa and get to experience a snowmobile safari in relative silence thanks to electric snowmobiles. Then transfer to Levi, a skier’s delight and the home of a magical little secret hideaway of the elves. You will have a good amount of leisure time to add in even more fun and if luck is on your side you may even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.
Day 1: ROVANIEMI
After arrival at Rovaniemi Airport you will be transferred to your accommodation at Santa Clause Holiday Village. With Santa’s home right there in the village where you are staying you don’t have to wait a second longer to see the big man and can just pop right over and seem him for yourself.

Day 2: ROVANIEMI
You will have some time at leisure after breakfast and then around midday you will be transferred to a hunting cabin in the middle of the forest. This will be the starting point for your snowmobile safari but before you set off you will first be given some handling instructions and safety precautions to observe. The distance of the safari will be approximately 15-20km and last around 2.5hours. The safari will take you across the frozen Lehtojärvi lake and continues through bogs and forests. Around the half-way point a stop at a cabin will be made where you can warm yourself by the fire and enjoy some hot juice and sausages around the fire. The format will be two persons per snowmobile with a changeover at the halfway point. Thereafter you will return to the village.

Day 3: ROVANIEMI
Today will be entirely at your leisure. There is plenty to see and do in Rovaniemi and there are numerous activities you could additionally book to fill your time with such as a husky safari or reindeer safari or perhaps you would just like to rent some snowshoes and go exploring by yourself. Or you could spend all day back at the village taking in everything it has to offer and getting some shopping done in the Christmas stores.

Day 4: ROVANIEMI – LEVI
After breakfast you will pack up and board a local shuttle bus which will take you to Levi. The bus journey should only take around 2 hours. Levi is a popular tourist destination and an absolute dream if skiing is your thing. It is completely surrounded by numerous tracks catering to all levels of skiing experience and even offering a ski school for those only just starting out. What remains of the day will be at your leisure.

Day 5: LEVI
Today will be something special for the children and those young at heart. You will be taken to the Elves hideaway in Köngäs village approximately 15 minutes away. Numerous activities are on offer here like story-telling, learning more about finish culture and some of more mystical elements surrounding elves or simply baking some Christmas biscuits and many more, all the while being guided by Santa’s little helpers. Thereafter return to your Levi accommodation.
