Spain Travel - Spain Self Drive

 



Day 1: MADRID
Arrival in Madrid , transfer to your hotel. O/N: Madrid.

Day 2: MADRID
A day to explore Madrid and its environs. This is the city of great monuments and is also known as the gateway to Spain, with its remarkable collection of museums and galleries. This very glamorous country city has a wide variety of the most magnificent gardens and parks, and boasts a very interesting nightlife. O/N: Madrid. (B)

Day 3: MADRID - TOLEDO
Collect your rental car. Leave Madrid and drive to Toledo . This city is one of the luxuries that you will stumble upon in Spain. It is known as containing some Spain's most magnificent historical monuments. This city is one of the very few intact medieval cities that are still around today and one of the most picturesque. Day 4: TOLEDO - CORDOBA
Depart Toledo and drive south into Andalucia and arrive in Cordoba . Nowhere else are the remnants of Spain's Islamic, Jewish and Catholic heritages so visibly intermixed as in Cordoba. It has enriched this city and left a definite mark on the history that lies behind it. O/N: Cordoba. (B)

Day 5: CORDOBA - SEVILLE
Continue into the heart of Andalucia, through olive groves and beautiful landscape. Arrive in Seville and check in at your hotel. O/N: Seville. (B)

Day 6: SEVILLE
Seville is one of the most exciting cities in Spain, and is also known as the center of tapas, bull fighting and flamenco music. This city is also known for its wonderful parks and gardens and offers a very relaxing atmosphere. O/N: Seville. (B)

Day 7: SEVILLE - COSTA DEL SOL
Drive further south, heading for the Mediterranean coastline. Suggest you plan your route to include the charming town of Ronda in your itinerary today. Arrive at Costa del Sol and check in at your hotel. O/N: Costa del Sol. (BD)

Day 8: COSTA DEL SOL
Your day at leisure to explore the beaches or some of the many towns stretching along the coast. Costa del Sol (translated "Sun Coast") is just what the name describes and is one of Spain's most attractive tourist destinations. 325 days of sunshine each year, makes Costa del Sol an all-year-round destination for sun-seekers. Day 9: COSTA DEL SOL - GRANADA
North along the coast and drive inland, towards the Andalucian gem of Granada. This beautiful city is lined with narrow streets filled with flowers and a number of beautiful gardens. The Alhambra, the spectacular palace-fortress still dominates the skyline of Granada. O/N: Granada. (B)

Day 10: GRANADA
Continue exploring Granada, until it is time to make your way to the airport. Drop-off your rental car at Granada airport, before checking in for your departure flight. (B)
