At leisure in Dubrovnik. This city is a monument in itself, and is the most beautiful and well-preserved city in Croatia. It is known as the jewel of Croatia. Today this city still continues to rival Venice with its beauty and charming atmosphere that attracts thousands of tourists a week. (Optional tours available).

Day 3: DUBROVNIK - SPLIT
Pick up rental car, drive to Split.

Day 4: SPLIT
At leisure in Split. Split is one of the sunniest places in Europe. This historic center lies within the imposing walls of Diocletian’s Palace. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cultural and entertainment on offer in Split is extremely rich, particularly in the summer, when the city squares, yards and other areas turn into large open-air stages. Day 5: SPLIT - PLITVICE
Drive to Plitvice, balance of day at leisure. The mountains around the Plitvice area are thickly wooded and are home to the Plitvice Lakes consisting of 16 terraced, crystal clear lakes which are all joining each other. This area was proclaimed a National Park in 1949. It is one of the biggest National Parks in Croatia.

Day 6: PLITVICE - ZAGREB
Drive to Zagreb. Drop off rental car.
