It is here you will experience the true rhythm of Africa, and have the opportunity to experience Africa’s most majestic wildlife.  This is because a “Big 5” reserve has to be large enough to accommodate both lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo in addition to a variety of other animals, who require large land areas.   Sadly, many book safari holidays in smaller reserves where they find that they have to travel elsewhere to see the most famous of all Africa’s land mammals.  Therefore, if you are planning a safari in Africa, first ask:  “Is this reserve home to the “Big 5”.”
