Itinerary:
This is the tour for those who dream of adventure, discovery and of exploring the great outdoors. We recommend that you add some nights in Dubai before or after this off-road adventure.
SAT: DUBAI
Arrive Dubai, transfer to hotel. Overnight: 4* Ascot Hotel Dubai
SUN: DUBAI - RAS AL KHAIMAH
Depart Dubai and drive north-east towards Al Awir desert. Begin your off-road section. Drive through sand tracks and over nursery slopes to Wadi Mileiha (Fossil rock - Camel rock). Continue to Shawqa, a farming town approximately 60km from the city of Sharjah. Picnic lunch and later visit the Shawqa dam. Depart towards Manama and en-route, stop at the market before continuing to
Fujairah. Proceed to Ras Al Khaimah.

MON: RAS AL KHAIMAH - MUSANDAM - RAS AL KHAIMAH
Depart Ras Al Khaimah and head towards the Wadi Bih mountains. Enter the Musandam Peninsula. Drive on a Wadi bed (dried-up riverbed) and continue all the way up to reach the Rowdah Bowl. We start climbing on low gear all the way up to 1000 meters. The climb out of the Wadi is steep and has some of the most dramatic views. Stop and enjoy a picnic lunch. Descend towards Dibba Town. The track takes you through a narrow twisting gorge called Wadi Khab Al Shamis. Exit the mountains close to the Al Hisn Fort and drive to Tayyibah. Travel via Wadi Asimah and Ghayl and return to Ras Al Khaimah.

TUE: RAS AL KHAIMAH - HATTA -AL AIN
Drive in the direction of Kalba. Visit the mangroves and continue via tunnel toward Hatta. This section is all on Tarmac till the village of Munay. Take the narrow Wadi bed track to reach Wadi Huwailat. Leave the gravel track and head towards Hatta. (Dubai emirate).
Continue to drive past the small town. Here start off-roading on gravel tracks and one can see the various colours in the Hajar Mountains. The drive will cut through some interesting terrain and put man and machine through some interesting patches. picnic lunch en-route in the Wadis. Exit the wadis and drive back on tarmac towards Madam eventually connecting to Shuaib. After driving passed the town of Shuaib join on to the Al Ain highway and head to Jebel Hafeet.
Overnight: 5*Al Ain Rotana (BLD)
WED: JEBEL HAFEET - AL AIN - DUBAI
Travel north-east to the city of Al Ain. See some highlights of the city before starting the most challenging section of the trip, through some of the most spectacular sand dunes to the Shawaib plains. Stop en-route for a picnic lunch and continue towards Madam. Exit the dunes, then a short drive on tar roads before starting the final section on sand. Arrive in Margam, enjoy a farewell
sumptuous BBQ dune dinner under the stars. Unwind and recap the adventure experienced! Overnight: Dubai (BLD)
THU: DUBAI
Departure transfer to Dubai Airport. (B)
This off-road adventure is operated in 4-wheel drive vehicles. You have the option of booking the adventure on a “seat-in-car” basis, in which case your car will be driven by an experienced safari driver. Alternatively, you can test your own limits by driving your own vehicles through the rugged desert, mountain and rocky wadis. You will have a lead vehicle with Safari guide on this self-drive adventure.
