Itinerary:
DUBAI CITY TOUR – departs daily.
The perfect orientation tour of Dubai. See the magnificent Jumeirah Mosque and the old wind-tower houses built by wealthy merchants. Visit the Dubai Museum, which records the city’s past. Cross the creek by Abra (local water taxi) and explore the bustling alleys of the gold and spice souks.
DUNE DINNER SAFARI – departs daily.
Experience a thrilling journey by 4x4 vehicle over rolling dunes deep into the heart of the desert. From the crest of a high dune, watch the sun cast its orange glow over the vast expanse of rippling sand as it sets. The evening will be spent in a Bedou tent, which includes henna paining, camel riding and belly dancing. Enjoy a moonlight Arabian barbeque.
DHOW CRUISE WITH DINNER – Departs daily.
What could be more enchanting than a moonlight cruise aboard a dhow (traditional wooden vessel) as it slips silently along the Dubai Creek? Dinner and fragrant Arabic coffee is included, a delicious taste of true Arabian hospitality.
OVERNIGHT DESERT SAFARI – Departs Wednesdays during winter.
Discover the true essence of Arabia on this exciting overnight safari. Depart Dubai and head deep into the vast expanse of the desert, driving over dunes by 4x4 vehicles. At sunset, set up camp amongst the oceans of sand. Under the sky of a million stars, enjoy a barbecue feast before retiring to your tent. ABU DHABI CITY TOUR – Departs Wednesdays.
A full day tour to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, situated about 170kms southwest of Dubai. En-route see the Jebel Ali Port, the biggest man-made port in the world. Abu Dhabi is a city with dramatic contrast; see shimmering skyscrapers, villas and palaces along the Riviera-style Corniche with its blue Gulf waters and enticing offshore islands. Visit the Heritage village and the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation. See the ancient, renovated Al Husn Fort, the old dhow yard and the charming Batinah harbour. Return to Dubai, en-route see the Sports City, the biggest soccer stadium in the Middle East. An engrossing view of an Emirate that is so like Dubai and yet so different.
AJMAN & SHARJAH TOUR – Departs Thursdays and Sundays.
A half day highlights tour of two Emirates: Sharjah and Ajman. Visit Ajman’s enchanting museum, housed in an ancient fort. Enjoy the short brief and excellent display about the Emirates’ past, before oil was discovered. Continue to Sharjah, en-route see the King Faisal Mosque, currently the largest mosque in the UAE, and the Al Ittihad monument.
