Day 2 - 5: CRETE
Crete is the biggest of all Greek islands. It is outstanding not only because of its geographical situation, but also because of its long history and exceptional cultural heritage. Crete is characterised by its diversity of landscape. The island is dominated by a major mountain range extending from west to east, with fertile valleys between the mountains. Heraklion is the capital of Crete, other cities are Rethymnon and Chania.
