| Simonstown is located a short distance from Cape Town and offers some of the best beaches on the Cape Peninsula. There is easy access to the city using public transport. Simonstown's Mediterranean climate, little rain and 11 hours or more of glorious sunshine in summer makes this a very desirable holiday playground. Simonstown is located on the Indian Ocean and therefore offers beaches with warmer sea temperatures than what the Atlantic beaches near Cape Town can offer. The Cape Peninsula is flanked by the cold atlantic and warm Indian Oceans and is blessed with miles of unspoilt beaches and quaint sea-side villages that dot the coastline.
Day 1:
You will be met on arrival in Cape Town and transferred to Simonstown, to your sea-side hotel. Simonstown is located on the Indian Ocean and therefore offers beaches with warmer sea temperatures than what the Atlantic beaches near Cape Town can offer. Balance of day at leisure.
Days 2 - 5:
Your hotel is located on the waterfront centre and marina in Simonstown. There are many beaches in the vicinity, and you can also visit the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach. "Rikkies" (small, open-sided street taxis) take passengers to nearby villages and seaside towns. A train service to Cape Town makes the attractions of the "Mother City" easily accessible. (B)

You will be collected and transferred to Cape Town airport. (B)
